Installation

1. Upload the folder simple-music to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to Appearance > Widgets and drag 'Simple Music' to your sidebar
4. Update the settings in the widget: MP3 URL, autoplay, etc.

I have installed and successfully added the plugin on my sidebar. I can see it fine in safari, but not in firefox.

My guess is it's your cache, are you familiar with that? Sometimes one browser saves an older version of the webpages you visit so that they will load faster next time. If you go to safari > clear cache and refresh the page, does it show up?

hi! I really love the design of this plugin and have been using it successfully. Suddenly it has stopped working for me. I've re-uploaded my mp3 file, tried playing my mp3 on it's own from the url, deactivated and activated the plugin....any other ideas?

That's such a common problem with plugin issues. Just try deactivating each plugin. I would start with your most recently installed ones if you can remember which ones those are. The new Wordpress update recently caused a big problem for me with a shopping cart I am using.

Thanks for letting me know about this plugin. I've never seen it before and it is pretty impressive. I haven't had any problems with it so far. All is working great.

Further curious activity: the first song that I uploaded to my site months ago plays fine. All recent songs don't. They load, but don't play. Again, the .mp3 files themselves play. I've deactivated and activated all of my plugins. If I deactivate the plugin and reactivate it, the song that comes with the player plays. Any ideas? So weird.

Love the simplicity of the plugin thanks - how can I get it to stop loading on every page ie is there any way to get it to just play continuously from one page to the next without reloading every time I go to a new page? Failing that I guess is there a way to just have it on the home page - it is the reloading of the music on every page that is cumbersome. All help much appreciated. Many thanks
