How do I find blogs to comment on?

I know these are basic questions, but I haven't had much luck researching this topic...

Blog comments can be great for SEO, but how do I find good blogs for this purpose?

Do they need to be relevant to my topic? What about do-follow links, don't most blogs have no-follow on outbound links, and does that affect the search rankings?

    Thanks!

Okay, basically, my personal views are that do-follow comments are valuable in the search engines. They say they aren't, but I think they do count for something. So I wouldn't worry about that. Plus, if you leave a good comment, you'll get a lot of direct traffic as well.

Now, how do you find them? What I love to do is go to Google's Blog Search (http://www.google.com/blogsearch) and type in terms that are relevant to your topic. Then, open about 10-15 of them and get to work. Read the articles, find something useful to say, and leave a nice comment with your links. Blog Search will give you as many relevant blog posts as you can handle

I use a product called webfire that will provide me with a list of good sites to follow and post on. That is exactly how I found zzz profits. There are a number of other issue tools that have similar functions. These tools range from nothing to 150 dollars per month however they also contain a large number of tools therefore they are tools suites.

The best combination toolsuite I have found to date is webfire.

I am not a webfire affiliate by the way, only because I haven't signed up for their program yet.

Re: How do I find blogs to comment on?

Webfire provides results based on your exact keyword, relevant to your content. How cool is that... just saying. You can do it manually or automate the process. When I say automate I mean the process of finding the sources to comment on, not account creation or comments.

All that said to provide the best comment you need to read the article.

On the south side, blog owners aren't always the fastest to approve comments, however forums are great links because they are moderated.

Wright the perfect keyword on search engine then write "blog", after that you can get lots of blog commenting site. Blog commenting help to increase quality back link.

This is similar to the previous one, but the blog you go to doesn’t have to be a big one. See who’s commenting there, and then go comment on their blogs. And then see who’s commenting on THOSE blogs, and just keep following the trail of comments back to new blogs.

Good idea Raj. I think there is a similar article posted on the ZZZ Profits article section that says to do just that.
